Information
Typhoon Hagibis, a Category 5 storm, is currently approaching the South-West of Japan. It is expected to make landfall around 12 October. Current wind speeds are around 200km/h, with gusts to 270km/h, although it is expected to weaken by the time it makes landfall. We urge customers to take care during their travels.
Safety is your first priority so if you are in any vulnerable areas please follow advice from local authorities(including evacuation orders) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade(MFAT) and follow https://www.safetravel.govt.nz for up to date information about the Typhoon (as and when this is updated). MFAT currently notes that any New Zealanders attending Rugby World Cup games on 12 and 13 October should consult the Rugby World Cup website for updates on matches. We understand the organiser is refunding the tickets for cancelled matches and customers should contact them in the first instance.

Please refer to your Policy Wording for the terms, conditions, limits and exclusions that apply.
