If you are abroad and require assistance, please contact us as soon as possible on the numbers below. The operator will advise the next course of action if you require medical treatment, need to return home or have suffered a loss while travelling. If you intend to incur additional expenses you should also get in touch and let us know. It's important that you get in touch as soon as possible as failure to do so may, in some instances, mean we will not pay part or all of your claim.

An overseas policyholder preference applies. Under Australian law, if The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd is wound up, its assets in Australia must be applied to its Australian liabilities before they can be applied to overseas liabilities. To this extent, New Zealand policyholders may not be able to rely on The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd’s Australian assets to satisfy New Zealand liabilities.
